Coldplay have withheld their new album ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ from Spotify.

The band have made their seventh studio effort available on Apple Music, Tidal and Google Play Music but it is not currently available on rival platform Spotify. ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ features collaborations with Noel Gallagher, Beyonce and Tove Lo among others.

Coldplay’s back catalogue remains available on Spotify, as do two singles from their new album – ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’ and ‘Everglow’. A statement given to NME from Spotify reads: “Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ is not yet on Spotify, but we look forward to making it available very soon.”

The band currently have 16.2 million monthly listeners on the service.

Julia Kennedy/PressMeanwhile, Coldplay will be live streaming the album from their studio in London on their Facebook page from 3.30pm GMT today (December 4).

The four-piece also announced yesterday that they will perform during the NFL Super Bowl halftime show next year.

The halftime show is something of a cultural event in the US, with Katy Perry, Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Madonna performing in recent years.

Chris Martin and co will perform at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California (home to San Francisco 49ers) on February 7.

The band are set to head out on a stadium tour of the UK next year taking in dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and London’s Wembley Stadium.

Frontman Chris Martin said ahead of the tour: “I think that not going on tour with [2014 album] ‘Ghost Stories’ was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it gave us such pent-up energy in the studio and completely reignited everyone’s desire to go around the world and play music. ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ was written as a record to be performed live. We can’t wait to do that.”

Coldplay will play the following live dates:

Manchester Etihad Stadium (June 4, 5)
Glasgow Hampden Park (June 7)
London Wembley Stadium (June 16,18, 19)
