Adele’s ’25’ has sold a million copies in two separate weeks in the US, making it the first album to achieve such a feat.
’25’ was released on November 20, shifting 3.38 million in the States during its first week. Now it has been revealed that the album has again sold over a million in its second week on sale.
It’s the first recorded instance of an artist doing so since music analysts Nielsen began tracking sales data in 1991.
’25’ is also only the 20th album ever to sell a million copies in a single week in the US.
